Introducing Jeff Smolens. Jeff has been one of Darwin's greatest supporters from the very beginning. Always willing to help in any capacity, support the brand and rock the shirts in all settings. I could not thank Jeff enough for his support, amazing friendship and overall kindness.
Attached is a post written by Jeff about his journey with Darwin, his personal growth in life and the new ways he has discovered being his best self. Enjoy!
Our attitude and perspective vastly shape what that experience feels like mentally and physically, which is pretty cool if you think about it. We are all trying our best every day anyway, why not make at least one person happier, or make 10 seconds of their day a spark of energy. It’s actually pretty fun.
When I get stuck mentally, I have found that the best advice has been to focus on the journey, eliminating that uncertainty and creating an excitement for the adventure that is life.
To improve my focus and overall daily success I have found Movement to be the key ingredient.
We are all capable of a handmade life. It comes down to presence, action and purpose. A handmade life is extremely intriguing to me because it is never ending. A high score that can never be beaten but instead constantly improved.
Creation has rewarded me with results. Some great, some I really need to improve on. For the first time ever, good or bad, I am so happy to know the result. The result does not define, but instead it is a compass to guide and build on the foundation.
Very grateful to have been interviewed on the Eat Green Make Green podcast this past week!
The most difficult part about entrepreneurship, for me, is time. Staying in the NOW, focusing on the task at hand and not getting ahead of myself. I recently have found a routine that has helped me focus with intent and purpose. Creating the high functioning energy that allows me to properly ebb and flow with what each new day brings. Allowing me to face my fears and gradually grow in improvement through the good and bad.
